Fontainebleau Castle and Forest
Nothing beats exploring the local grounds of a historic country such as that of France. Known to be one of the more active nations during the medieval years, a lot of history, which includes battles, wars and preserved artifacts are still up and maintained for tourist visits from all over the world.
The history goes far back as the time where castles were still standing and knights and horses were ruling the lands. Such can be expected when a visit to the Fontainebleau Castle and Forest has been scheduled, a known protected reserve which still has a touch of wildlife existence. This is among the busy attraction site of France in a year, where millions troop to the said destination to appreciate and see first hand the standing monuments and left trails that have been well preserved.
The “bleauâ€, as it is more fondly called, offers various activities aside from tours. This includes a hiking adventure for the more active individuals who can follow the roads and trails with the use of available hiker’s maps to guide them. Climbers can also check out the Mini Alps and try out their rock climbing expertise.
And of course the presence of the wildlife will provide tourists a better overview of nature at its best, well-preserved and filled with various creatures that include Woodpeckers, Crested Tit, Firecrest and Woodlarks. For the tourists whose hobby is that of bird watching, this is a good place to check out their hobbies.
